Ziegfeld Summer Theme Camps
Students dive into a new theatrical world each week while building real performance skills in **dance, voice, acting, and audition technique**. Each camp is designed to be fun, engaging, and skill-focused—giving young performers the chance to grow in ways that are hard to fit into a busy school-year schedule.
During the year, rehearsals and performances move quickly, and there’s often limited time to truly focus on foundational training. These are the kinds of classes we’ve always wanted to offer during our regular semesters—but know how difficult that can be with everything else going on.

Whether your child joins us for one week or all four, they’ll gain confidence, technique, and experience that will set them up for a successful year of auditions, rehearsals, and performances ahead.

Week 1
Broadway Showstoppers
Dance Full Out!
Big energy. Bold movement. Broadway style.
In Broadway Showstoppers camp, students will explore the exciting world of musical theatre dance through original choreography in songs from Hamilton, Singin’ in the Rain, Newsies, High School Musical, and Wicked.
This week focuses on building strong dance fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment. Campers will experience a variety of styles—including jazz, musical theatre, and beginner tap—while developing coordination, confidence, and stage presence.
Through dynamic group numbers and ensemble work, students will learn how to tell a story through movement and perform with confidence like true Broadway stars. The week wraps up with a Friday Showcase at 3 PM, where families can see their performers shine!

Raise Your Voice!
Sing Like A Star!
It’s time to find your voice and let it shine!
In Raise Your Voice camp We will explore the joy of singing through songs inspired by shows like Moana, Frozen, Hercules, Lightning Thief, and Annie.
This week combines both group vocal work and personalized coaching, helping each student discover a song that fits their unique voice and personality. Campers will build essential skills like vocal technique, projection, harmony, and solo confidence—all while learning how to tell a story through song.
Whether singing in an ensemble or stepping into a solo moment, students will gain confidence and learn how to perform with expression and authenticity. The week concludes with a Friday Showcase at 3 PM, where performers share both group numbers and individual highlights.

Week 3
Acting Adventures
No Music. Just Magic.
Step into the world of imagination and bring characters to life!
In Acting Adventures camp, students will focus purely on acting as they explore exciting themes like heroes and villains, fairytales, comedy, improv, and original storytelling adventures.
This week is designed to help young performers grow as actors by building strong foundations in character development, facial expression, body language, and scene work. Through fun theatre games, improv exercises, and guided scenes, students will learn how to make bold choices and fully commit to their characters.
Campers will also participate in a storytelling workshop, where they can create and develop their own original story. For students interested in school or community storytelling festivals, our instructors will provide optional guidance and coaching to help them shape and prepare a piece they can confidently present.
The week wraps up with a Friday Showcase at 3 PM, where students present scenes and original work for family and friends.

Week 4
Ready. Set. Audition!
Train and Audition Like a Pro.
Step into any audition with confidence! In Ready, Set, Audition!, students will learn the essential skills they need to succeed in any audition setting—while building confidence and having fun along the way.
This week focuses on audition technique and preparation, including how to choose the right song, perform a basic monologue, tackle cold reads, and present themselves with confidence in the room. Students will also learn tips and tricks for a successful dance audition, including how to quickly pick up choreography, stay confident in a group setting, and perform with energy and presence.
Campers are encouraged to bring in their own goals, and our instructors will help them prepare for upcoming opportunities—especially auditions for our final summer camp production of The Addams Family and our fall show, Alice in Wonderland.
The week concludes with a Friday Showcase at 3 PM, where students can demonstrate their skills and celebrate their growth.
