We are so excited to announce open enrollment for
Bright Star: School Edition for our Zig Prep! students!
Program Cost:
Total cost for the program is $200.
$100 charged upon enrollment of the class, after the cast list has been posted. The other $100 to be charged on February 1st.
Prepare Your Audition
Your video should include:

*Role(s) you are auditioning for

* 1- 2 minutes of a song provided in the Audition Materials Folder.

Broadway’s BRIGHT STAR tells a sweeping tale of love and redemption set against the rich backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and ’40s. When literary editor Alice Murphy meets a young soldier just home from World War II, he awakens her longing for the child she once lost. Haunted by their unique connection, Alice sets out on a journey to understand her past – and what she finds has the power to transform both of their lives. This is a High School age production- Those who graduate in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 are welcome with any or no theater experience. Those in the class of 2026 will need to have had theater experience and will be asked to state their experience and provide a teacher's/director's name and email as a reference in order to participate in this show. Zig Prep works at a very quick pace.
If this is the actor's first time doing theater, we instead ask to consider signing up for our Spring production of Mary Poppins Jr!
VOCAL AUDITIONS: Submissions have been extended to November 30th at 11:59 PM
DANCE CALLBACKS: December 2nd from 2- 3:30 pm at The Ziegfeld Arts Academy by invitation only
CALLBACKS: December 2nd from 3:30- 10 pm at The Ziegfeld Arts Academy by invitation only
FIRST REHEARSAL will be held on:
December 5th at 4:00pm at The Ziegfeld Arts Academy
Rehearsals will typically take place Tuesday- Thursday from 4- 7 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 3- 6 pm. In January, rehearsals will switch to later in the evening from 6:30- 9:30 pm. Please keep this in mind as you are writing your conflicts.
